International certification is already included in the training fee!
Certification - procedure
Step 1
After completing the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training and passing the final test (the test consists of 40 questions and a success rate of 80% is required), the participant will receive a certificate of successful completion of the Green Belt course. The test is always part of the training.
Step 2
A candidate may also continue with the "Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt" certification, which requires the application of selected DMAIC tools on one completed project using the Lean Six Sigma methodology. The essence is the practical testing of the selected tools and improvement of a specific process. As part of the course, the participant receives project templates that greatly simplify the work on the project. In addition, throughout the first project, the participant has the opportunity for consultation and coaching with a trainer (Master Black Belt). In order to obtain the certification itself, the project must be defended in front of a committee at ICG office or virtually. This Certification is held five times a year. The certification process and the defense are included in the course fee.
The project defense is conducted in the form of a 60-minute presentation where Green Belt focuses on the application of the selected tools.
The Green Belt and the members of the Commission focus in particular on:
- Introducing the project at all stages of the DMAIC cycle.
- Explanation of the individual techniques implemented by the project team and presentation of the partial outputs.
- Demonstrate implementation of process changes and confirm process improvements on data.
- A series of questions and answers to demonstrate the independence of Green Belt and their leadership of the project.
Immediately after the project presentation, the committee will decide whether to award the "Certified Green Belt" certificate issued by the ICG / Innotiimi consortium.
